The West Tennessee Quarter Horse Association was organized January 12, 1979 as a non-profit organization with the principle place of business of the Association being Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee but it’s members may be residents of any state, territory, or county, and business may be carried on at any place convenient to such members or officials as may be participating. Only bonafide residents of West Tennessee may hold office in this Association.West Tennessee is defined as all of Tennessee located west of the Tennessee River.
WTQHA holds all of its AQHA sponsored shows at the West Tennessee Agriculture Pavilion and also in Memphis at the AgriCenter/Shelby Showplace.

WTQHA Members:
Welcome to the WTQHA 2013 Show Year. We are very excited to start a new year of showing and hope you are all ready to show with us. We want your support and help in all we do for the exhibitors of WTQHA.
We have updated By-Laws that will be on the website. The 2013 Show Schedule and Board of Director List are attached. Slot Class information for the July Show in Memphis, and Futurity Stallion Contracts are being worked on and should be out soon. Please let us know if you have any interest in the Regional Mare Owners for Futurity Horses. And last but not least a WTQHA membership form, for those of you that have not paid your membership for 2013 and would like to become members and also, please make a copy and give a friend. Please note that Owner and Exhibitor must be member of WTQHA to get points toward year end awards.
We have already had January show and saw some new faces, we tried 4 judges at the January show this year and had a good show. The weather was nice and had a good turnout. We would like all to know that the success of our shows is the only way we are able to provide the great year end awards that we purchase for our exhibitors.
We had a great 2012 Year End awards banquet at the January show and gave out over $11,000 in gift certificates to our 2012 exhibitors. We would love to give more and if we have good shows and the economy improves, we will have a wonderful Awards banquet for 2013.
The Board of Directors for WTQHA are always looking to improve and help out the exhibitors, but they can’t do everything without your suggestion. We would just like everyone to know, that we will do the best with the monies that we have made, and the purchases will be with the available funds at the end of the show year. So please show and tell all your friends so that we will have successful shows and the available funds at the end of the year for the saddles and such that you dream of! So, you see why we need all your help for successful shows!
